| Description | The Dallas International Film Festival was held April 12-22, 2012 and presented over 175 films promoting the Society's mission of recognizing and honoring film makers. Art of Film was held November 18, 2011 and honored actor John Lithgow. Lithgow was interviewed about his career by Elvis Mitchell. The Screening Room hosted by Chris Vogner (movie critic of The Dallas Morning News) was presented monthly from November 2011 to April 2012 and recognized accomplishments in the film noir style across several decades.
