THIS ENDEAVOR WAS HELD TO SHOW PEOPLE, THOSE WITH AND THOSE WITHOUT DISABILITIES, WHAT CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED WITH HARD WORK AND DETERMINATION, AS WELL AS TO INSPIRE THOSE WITH DISABILITIES TO WORK TOWARDS INDIVIDUAL HIGHER GOALS IN SPORTS AND IN THEIR EVERY-DAY LIVES. ALONG THE WAY, THIS PERSON GAVE INSPIRATIONAL SPEECHES, RECEIVED THE KEYS TO VARIOUS CITIES FROM MAYORS AND OTHER OFFICIALS AND RECEIVED LOCAL AND NATIONAL MEDIA COVERAGE. ANOTHER GOAL OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO TURN THIS FILMED JOURNEY INTO A DOCUMENTARY TO HELP THE PUBLIC GAIN AN UNDERSTANDING AND THUS MORE ACCEPTANCE OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. AFTER THE TRIP WAS COMPLETED, A MEDIA PUBLICITY TOUR WAS UNDERTAKEN, IN THE HOPE OF RAISING A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT FOR THE ORGANIZATION'S GOOD WORKS.
