DURING THE FISCAL YEAR $30,000 IN INVESTMENT EARNING WERE USED TO SUPPORT THE SHERIFF'S K-9 PROGRAM.TOTAL PROGRAM EXPENSES WERE $30,000 OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: PROJECT 999 - Project 999 AssistS the families of law enforcement officers who are killed or seriously injured in the line of duty, in the County of Orange, or employed within the County of Orange.TOTAL PROGRAM EXPENSES WERE $13,854 OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Erwood G. Edgar Fund - ThE fund was established in 1992 to support equipment purchases for volunteer officers in the Reserve Division.TOTAL PROGRAM EXPENSES WERE $4,763 OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: Memorial Bike Ride - ThE fund was established by members of the Orange County Sheriff's Department to raise awareness and funds in support of certain projects underwritten by the Council. Currently the members of the Sheriff's Department participating in the bike ride have chosen to limit the use of the funds to support Project 999 and the Peace Officers Memorial Monument Fund. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: Scholarship Fund - THE FUND WAS Established to raise the necessary RESOURCES to support the scholarships annually awarded to the children of the sworn personnel associated with the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs. |
