IN FY13, SACC ENGAGED 60 STUDENTS IN OVER 1400 PROGRAM HOURS WHICH INCLUDED ONGOING CLASSES IN THEATER ARTS, VISUAL ARTS, DANCE, MEDIA AND FASHION. STUDENTS WERE ALSO OFFERED WRAP-AROUND SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDING HOMEWORK HELP AND TUTORING, SNACKS AND FULL MEALS, TRANSPORTATION, AND ONSITE MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING FOR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES. | Description |

WITH DIYDS, TMP TEENS GAIN VALUABLE EXPERIENCE IN CRITICAL THINKING, MEDIA LITERACY, TEAM BUILDING, AND PUBLIC SPEAKING. THE FESTIVAL WEEKEND IS A FORUM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO MEET AND SHARE THEIR COMMON INTERESTS IN MEDIA AND ITS USE IN PROMOTING AND COMMUNICATING TOPICAL ISSUES.
