Distance-delivered missions are one way we strive to reach as many of these students as possible. One way we deliver this supplemental education is through the Internet, where we fly missions similar to our on-site simulations run by a Challenger flight director directly to distant classrooms. Students are able to experience the excitement of a challenging career as they work together to solve problems, find success as a team and as individuals, all while discovering why they need the skills they are learning in school. Form 990 Part III, line 4c continued: Many Saturdays each year are busy as we provide programs for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the general public, special groups, and even corporate missions. Our Youth Leadership Training uses the entire Challenger mission experience as a motivator for at-risk teens and young adults to learn job application skills. Through a partnership with the US Air Force Academy, we support a wide variety of complementary STEM programs, from robotics to chemistry demonstrations to year-long middle and high school engineering classes. IF DISCREPANCIES WERE FOUND, WE PUT IN PLACE A PROCESS TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE WITHIN THE YEARLY JOB PERFORMANCE AND PAY INCREASE CYCLE. WE USED THE DISTRICT 20 SCALE AS A SEPARATE BUT VALIDLY ANALOGOUS SCALE OF COMPETITVE COMPENSATION FOR OUR PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY STUDY THE TOPIC OF "CONTEMPORANEOUS SUBSTANTIATION" EVERY YEAR SO THEY CAN ATTRACT AND RETAIN THE BEST CERTIFIED, CLASSIFIED, AND ADMINISTRATIVE PEOPLE IN THE STATE. WE CONSIDER OUR CEO TO BE A LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY SOMEWHERE BETWEEN A MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL AND A PRINCIPAL. BECAUSE OF OUR FINANCIAL SITUATION OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS, WE HAVE TENDED TO HOLD THIS TO THE LOW SIDE (ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL) LEVEL. AGAIN, WE USE THE RANGE USED BY ACADEMY DISTRICT 20 AS THE BASIS FOR COMPARISON WITH THE EXACT AMOUNT DETERMINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AFTER CAREFUL CONSIDERATION OF COMPARABLE COMPENSATION RATES AND LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE OF THE INDIVIDUAL.
