FOR THOSE BENEFITS TO BE RECOGNIZED, A TAX POSISTION MUST BE MORE LIKELY THANK NOT TO BE SUSTAINED UPON EXAMINIATION BY TAXING AUTHORITIES. A LIKELIHOOD OF MORE THAN 50 PERCENT IS APPLIED TO THE MEANING MORE-LIKELY-THAN-NOT. MANAGEMENT BELIEVES THAT THE DISTRICT COUNCIL HAS NO MATERIAL UNCERTAIN TAX POSITIONS TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS UNDER THESE RULES.
