Description	RUNAWAY PROGRAMS INCLUDE TRANSITIONAL LIVING, STREET OUTREACH AND THE BASIC CENTER. THIS INCLUDES A STATE-WIDE COALITION OF 12 MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS. The Transitional Living Program helps homeless youths ages 16-21 make a successful transition to independent adulthood through long-term housing, life skills training, advocacy and employment counseling. The Street Outreach Program trains teen Peer Outreach Workers to contact homeless youths on the streets and connect them to social services.The Basic Center Program provides emergency shelter to runaway and homeless youths and works to reunite runaways with their families and resolve family problems. Description	TEEN CENTER AND OTHER OUTREACH PROGRAMS INCLUDE 1) THE VERMONT YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CORPS PROGRAM is a statewide AmeriCorps Program that works through a network of youth service agencies to increase positive, skill building opportunities for young people. The program helps develop active, caring citizens and reduce delinquency and substance abuse among youth in Vermont. 2) THE Return House is for 18-22 year old young men who are returning to the community after being incarcerated. The 6 to 12 month program begins before participants are released from jail, provides 24-hour support to accompany them through their re-entry, and provides aftercare services following completion of the program. 3) The Basement Teen Center is a substance-free, adult-supervised space for teens to gather, attend workshops, learn leadership skills, and have fun. 4) THE VERMONT COALITION OF TEEN CENTERS is a collaboration of Vermont teen centers working together to ensure that teens have opportunities, resources, and a place to hang out. Its mission is to promote the viability and stability of Vermont teen centers.	Description
