THROUGH OUR OUTREACH PROGRAM, CARPENTER'S SHELTER OPERATES THE ONLY DAY SHELTER FACILITY FOR THE CHRONICALLY HOMELESS AND THE WINTER SHELTER FOR THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA. OUR SUCCESS WITH OUR CLIENTS COMES FROM OUR COMPREHENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT - DESIGNED TO EDUCATE AND ASSIST FAMILIES. AFTER LEAVING THE SHELTER, INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES PARTICIPATE IN OUR COMMUNITY CASE MANAGEMENT TO ENSURE THAT THEY DO NOT RETURN TO THE SHELTER.
