| Mission | GKTW is a 501(c) 3, non-profit Village that provides children, between the ages of 3 and 18, who have a life-threatening illness and their families the cost-free opportunity to experience various Central Florida attractions. Give Kids The World provides lodging on its own 70 acre facility in Kissimmee, Florida. In addition to accommodations, the Village also provides meals, swimming pools, miniature golf, a carousel ride, nightly entertainment, and much more. In order to accomplish its mission, Give Kids The World acquires and coordinates vacation packages for the families by soliciting attraction tickets, transportation services, small gifts, food services, and volunteer time from local and national businesses, community service organizations, and individuals. | MissionDesc |

Welcoming wish families to experience the magic of the Village is not only our mission, but also our pleasure. Within the 7,310 families we served last year, we reached the bittersweet milestone of receiving our 125,000 family to the Village for their once in a lifetime wish trip. In hosting these families GKTW distributed more than 104,000 attraction tickets, logged nearly 300,000 volunteer hours, served over 320,000 meals, and scooped up 9,000 gallons of ice cream. All of these incredible accomplishments add up to countless smiles and cherished memories, creating the most precious gift of all for families who need it the most - the gift of hope. | Desc |
