THE IDEALS OF PROFESSIONALISM, SUCH AS COMPETENCE AND THE PRIMACY OF PATIENT WELFARE, HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY DEFINED IN OUR WIDELY-ADOPTED PHYSICIAN CHARTER. INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND THE PROFESSION ALL EXPERIENCE OBSTACLES TO ACHIEVING THESE IDEALS. THROUGH OUR INITIATIVES, WE SEEK TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THESE OBSTACLES AND EXPLORE WAYS TO OVERCOME THEM.
