| Desc | EdBuild promotes common sense and fairness in K-12 school funding by engaging directly with states in policy research, and by partaking in national voice work that elevates the national dialogue surrounding broader issues of student poverty and inequity. For FYE 2015 in the area of national voice, EdBuild released one report that highlighted student poverty in all school districts across the country. EdBuild also released a report on the change in student poverty over time since the great recession. Both reports garnered national attention. In the area of state engagement, EdBuild built tools for education advocates to visualize policy implications in real-time, thus enabling them to quickly and easily ensure promoted policies were targeting the right subgroup of students. | Desc |
