DescTHE CONTRA COSTA FAMILY JUSTICE ALLIANCE OPERATES TWO FAMILY JUSTICE CENTERS IN RICHMOND AND CONCORD, CALIFORNIA. OUR CENTERS ARE COMMUNITY HUBS FOR EDUCATION AND COMPREHENSIVE AND INTEGRATED SERVICES FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, CHILD ABUSE, AND ELDER ABUSE AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING. WE BRING RESOURCES TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES IMPACTED BY INTERPERSONAL VIOLENCE, RECOGNIZING THAT FAMILY VIOLENCE GREATLY IMPACTS CHILDREN'S HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING THEIR EMOTIONAL, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH.THE ALLIANCE PROVIDES EFFICIENT INFRASTRUCTURE (WORK SPACE, OFFICE EQUIPMENT, A TRAINING FACILITY), COORDINATION, AND SUPPORT FOR DIRECT-SERVICE PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS TO WORK TOGETHER. WE PROVIDE CENTRALIZED DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS USING A CUSTOM-BUILT DATABASE SYSTEM TO IMPROVE DATA COLLECTION AND REPORTING, IDENTIFY SERVICE GAPS, AND UNDERSTAND RISK AND PROTECTIVE FACTORS. THE ALLIANCE SPECIALIZES IN CAPACITY BUILDING AND TRAINING, FROM CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT TO TRAINING EVALUATION. IT ORGANIZES AND COORDINATES COUNTYWIDE LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAININGS, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS. THE ALLIANCE IMPLEMENTS COMMUNITY-BASED VIOLENCE PREVENTION STRATEGIES. ONE OF THESE IS PROJECT CONNECT, A COMMUNITY-BUILDING INITIATIVE TO ENGAGE RESIDENTS, SURVIVORS, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO INCREASE COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF IPV AND IMPROVE COMMUNICATION AMONG STAKEHOLDERS. THIS REVIEW SHALL OCCUR WHEN SUCH OFFICER IS HIRED, WHEN THE TERM OF EMPLOYMENT OF SUCH OFFICER IS RENEWED OR EXTENDED, AND WHEN THE COMPENSATION OF SUCH OFFICER IS MODIFIED, UNLESS THE MODIFICATION APPLIES TO SUBSTANTIALLY ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES OF THIS CORPORATION. BASED ON ITS REVIEW, THE COMPENSATION COMMITTEE SHALL RECOMMEND JUST AND REASONABLE COMPENSATION AMOUNTS TO THE BOARD.
