PART X, LINE 2:RIVER BEND FOOD RESERVOIR IS EXEMPT FROM FEDERAL AND STATE INCOME TAXES UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AND COMPARABLE STATE LAW, AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO IT ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE WITHIN LIMITATIONS PRESCRIBED BY THE CODE. THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN CLASSIFIED AS A PUBLICLY SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION, WHICH IS NOT A PRIVATE FOUNDATION UNDER SECTION 509(A) OF THE CODE. THE FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING STANDARDS BOARD HAS ISSUED GUIDANCE ON ACCOUNTING FOR UNCERTAINTY IN INCOME TAXES. MANAGEMENT EVALUATED THE ORGANIZATION'S TAX POSITIONS AND CONCLUDED THAT THE ORGANIZATION HAS MAINTAINED ITS TAX-EXEMPT STATUS AND HAS TAKEN NO UNCERTAIN TAX POSITIONS THAT REQUIRE ADJUSTMENT TO OR DISCLOSURE IN THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS.
