| Schedule D, Part X, Line 2 - Uncertain Tax Position | The Company is exempt from federal income taxes under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and therefore has made no provision for federal or state income taxes. The Company follows accounting guidance regarding the recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure of uncertain tax positions in the financial statements. Tax positions taken or expected to be taken in the course of preparing the Companys tax returns, including the position that the Company qualifies as a tax exempt entity, are required to be evaluated to determine whether the tax positions are "more-likely-than-not" to be upheld under regulatory review. Tax positions not deemed to meet a more-likely-than-not threshold would be disclosed in the financial statements. There were no uncertain tax positions that require disclosure in the financial statements as of December 31, 2016 and 2015. The Company records interest and penalties, if any, as part of income tax expense. No interest or penalties were recorded in 2016 or 2015. The Companys income tax returns are subject to review and examination by federal and state taxing authorities. The Company is currently open to audit under the applicable statutes of limitations by the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities for the years ended after December 31, 2012. |
