We accomplish this by providing in-home services to help homebound older people live in their own homes as long as possible; helping active older people stay fit, healthy and involved; and helping family caregivers navigate the maze of available services and care for aging family members. Our vision is a community of people who celebrate living and are aging well. The six-county area served by CareLink includes Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski, and Saline. | Part X, Line 2: | CareLink is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is not a private foundation within the meaning of Section 509(a) of the Code. Accounting standards require CareLink to evaluate tax positions and recognize a tax liability (or asset) if CareLink has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). CareLink has analyzed the tax positions taken and has concluded that as of June 30, 2017 and 2016, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require the recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the financial statements. CareLink may be subject to audit by the IRS; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. |
