| Desc | The organization continued to grow in its commitment to serving communities by offering seminars, small groups, at risk youth empowerment opportunities, consulting, parent and educator training, womens support groups, and occasional writing. The organization delivers several different seminars with an unlimited number of delivery options. The main are: HURT seminars that help people to understand today's kids (a faith-based version and a version for the community at large); approximately 6,000 people served in single venue and larger convention settings, 35% of resources used.PARENTEEN seminars that help parents and family caregivers respond to the changing needs of children (a faith-based version and a version for the community at large); approximately 3,000 people served in single venue and larger convention settings, 35% of resources used.Healing Reins Family Services (equine assisted psychotherapy) uses a rescue horse and three others with at risk or poor youth and families to offer experiential therapist in a barn and arena setting; approximately 300 people served in 2016, 25% of resources used.Bell Lap helps people and families with terminal cancer to deal with their diagnosis; approximately 200 people served in 2016, 5% of resources used. The Anchor Gathering is a gathering to encourage women for mutual support, especially when tragedy strikes.When someone responds to our website asking for more information we offer them a variety of options. Primarily we attempt to give them the best tools and resources that aligns needs in a way that financially and logistically makes sense. The organization has never had a set fee for any of its programs and services, and frequently under the direction of the board offers cheap or even free seminars, support services, programs and consulting. | Desc |
