| Explanation | The NDHC grant program is limited to not-for-profit organizations or ad-hoc groups formed for nonprofit purposes. All grant applicants are required to submit a written application describing their proposed project in detail and a budget which conforms to NDHC guidelines. Successful applicants sign a written grant agreement and submit reports, both program and financial, at the end of the project detailing the program activities and expenditures.
