| Explanation | The Association is exempt from Federal income taxes under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(6) and, therefore, has made no provision for federal income taxes. Financial Accounting Board ("FASB"), Accounting Standard Codification 740, ("ASC 740") requires that a tax position be recognized or derecognized based on a "more-likely-than-not" threshold. This applies to positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. As of December 31, 2017 management has assessed that there is no potential liability for any uncertain tax positions.
