During the year CAFP served as the fiscal agent for major continuing medical education initiatives: CME Leaders, The Evolution of Anticoagulation Management - A (TEAM-A), Collaboration for REMS Education (CO*RE), and Adolescent Substance Abuse.As these initiatives were developed, the partners involved entered into an agreement with the grantors, Pfizer, Inc., Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Physicians Foundation, and Hilton Foundation, that CAFP would serve as the "Fiscal Intermediary" for the initiatives, with a small management fee included in the grant to support the work. CAFP distributes the grant award payments to the partners in accordance with the projected activity payment schedule..
