Desc	In 2017, we focused on four areas related to prevention: (1) We completed a first draft of a short animation for teens that directs them to a text line if they have questions or need help. This video will be paired with a social media campaign. (2) Based on our input from three focus groups with youth survivors of trafficking, we worked with a survivor to develop a toolkit that will support parents and caregivers in recognizing and addressing children's vulnerabilities. (3) We funded the San Francisco Unified School District to provide in-depth training on commercial sexual exploitation to key school staff, including all school counselors, nurses, and support staff who work with vulnerable youth. (4) We supported the development of 11 media articles to cover issues pertaining to commercial sexual exploitation in the Bay Area.	Desc

In 2017, we conducted a youth focus group and launched our Forward Fellowship. Forward Fellows are powerful young leaders, working to shift the narratives and systems that affect the lives of youth impacted by trafficking and/or the underground street economy in San Francisco. Supported through a collaboration with the Young Women's Freedom Center, Fellows pursue a year of healing-centered leadership workshops, serve as the Youth Advisory Board for the San Francisco Mayor's Task Force on Anti-Human Trafficking, and develop projects to effect their visions of change.
