Requiem 4 ReconciliationIn the Fall of 2016, after a summer of sweltering discontent, and far too many lives lost, Opera Noirs Artistic Director, Roz Clark, created Requiem 4 Reconciliation ~ A Concert For Hope and Healing. The concert was a multi-cultural celebration of life, and the audience was a melting pot of humanity who came together to both mourn the tragic loss of life, and embrace one another as we found comfort in the music, and our shared commitment to community. The audience included uniformed police officers, clergy, and community members from all walks of life who reaffirmed their dedication to making the world a better place one interaction at a time.Requiem 4 Reconciliation has transcended simply being a concert performance, and is becoming a movement that utilizes music to explore and understand Social Justice. Please support Opera Noir as I, and my esteemed artistic colleagues, lift our voices for all those whose lives have ended violently, and far too soon, and encourage those of us who are left behind to find common ground to begin the process of healing and restoration.$10,298
Grab Your PowerOpera Noir launched its first half-day workshop & panel discussion for artists and creative entrepreneurs in the Fall of 2017. The goal is to educate and empower attendees to move past limiting beliefs, get clear on goals and outcomes, and then to develop a strategic business and marketing plan to monetize their gifts and talents. The half-day workshops include practical training to educate attendees on how to effectively tell their story. Participants will gain an understanding, and learn the foundational strategies of how to seek grant and sponsorship partnerships to produce and present independently, as well as how to work with presenting organizations.$5,651
