Program Service Accomplishments	Housing + Solutions provides permanent and transitional housing and a variety of supportive services to ensure that adults and families are able to recover from substance abuse, prevent future homelessness, reunite with children and families, seek employment and accomplish other personal goals. The majority of Housing + Solutions resources are used to operate and manage residences for women and families with children and for the counseling services they need. Some resources are used to develop and renovate new subsidized housing; other expenses are used to purchase equipment, furniture and supplies for the properties and participants. Housing Plus Solutions is also part of the Women's Community Justice Project, a non-profit partnership that provides community based housing and service for women who would otherwise be unnecessarily detained at Rikers.
