| Desc | Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Disaster Response works to identify vulnerable populations and clients in need to provide resources, volunteers and Disaster Case Management. Following the recovery period, additional work is done with the community to assist in preparation for future disasters. Training is provided for Disaster Case Management, volunteer management, donations management, and disaster preparedness. From 7/1/17 - 6/30/18, Disaster Response served 452 households and 1,156 un-duplicated individuals. 216 homes were repaired or rebuilt. In addition, 61 training courses were conducted. 742 volunteers were directly supervised totaling 28,196 volunteer hours. | Desc |
