Through our workforce development collaborative partnerships, JobsFirstNYC and our partners are pioneering work in this area and collectively achieving better results than individual organizations may be able to achieve on their own. PART III - LINE 4d (continues) Emerging Work This area of work within the organization focuses on innovation, demonstration, and model-testing. In pursuit of our mission, part of our responsibility to the young adult workforce development field is to craft mechanisms and strategies to support young people more effectively that are beyond the "business as usual" aspects of traditional funding mechanisms, notably with respect to public funding streams. Our current emerging work focuses notably on new employer service structures, such as employer led and developed initiatives. These include employer labor exchange platforms for part-time and seasonal employers and testing of practice to improve employer/workforce development training organizations partnership. |
