| Desc | Exonoree Support - We have provided support to 47 formerly incarcerated people who were wrongfully convicted. We provided financial assistance to 34 clients allowing them to meet their financial needs following their release, as they await(ed) wrongeful conviction compensation Access to housing - Secured a 20 year land lease on a property owned by the local sheriff to build a transational house (raised 200,000 for construction, designs by pro-bono architects) and provided free transitional housing to 32 formerly incarcerated men Legal Services: We served over 150 clients in our legal services clinic, providing assistance with collateral legal issues which were excluding them from rejoining the workforce. These services include drivers license reinstatement,child custody, and applications and appeals for professional professional licenses. We also assisted our clients were resolving over $250,000 in court related debt. Additionally we coordinated and facilitated numerous trainings with attorneys to build a network of pro-bono legal support, and developed best practices for Reentry Legal Services. | Desc |
