DescEMAD HOUSE (TEMPORARY ACCOMODATION PROGRAM): We sent grants to our local partner in Tehran, Iran, to serve the kids who travel to Tehran for a bone marrow or organ transplant. These kids and their families must stay near the hospital for a few months prior to the procedure, and also, for at least 3 months after discharge while having their weekly check-ups. Using Emad Foundation grants, our local partner rented buildings and apartment units, and renovated two buildings donated by local donors. In addition, our local partner provided kids and their accompanying family members with accommodation, healthy food, hygienic products, financial support for medical supplies, and transportation services. Grants were also spent to cover other maintenance and utility costs of the accommodation units.Desc

Form 990, Part III, Line 2EMAD HOUSE (TEMPORARY ACCOMODATION PROGRAM): In 2021, Emad Foundation received a specific license from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and -for the first time since its formation in 2018- was able to send grants to its local partner organization in Iran. Our local partner in Tehran, Iran, serves kids who travel to Tehran for a bone marrow or organ transplant. These kids and their families must stay near the hospital for a few months prior to the procedure, and also, for at least 3 months after discharge while having their weekly check-ups. Using Emad Foundation grants, our local partner provides kids and their accompanying family members with accommodation, healthy food, hygienic products, financial support for medical supplies, and transportation services.
