| Explanation | Opportunity4kids requires the completion of an online application to receive Scholarship. Applications are vetted by Opportunity4kids Director and approved by the Scholarship Committee, comprised of 3 Directors. All applicant information and documentation is kept on a cloud based stoarge program and retained indefinitely. Opportunity4kids tracks all Scholarships provided through accounting software and spreadsheets. Scholarships may be for financial fees, equipment and / or required uniforms. Communication is ongoing with the Scholarship parent/guardian, as well as activity organization, bdfore and after Scholarship being provided and follow up is conducted to ensure Scholarship activity is completed/fulfilled in entirety and no funding goes to waste. Annual check ins with activity organizations are conducted to confirm accuracy. All Scholarship amounts granted must be approved at minimum by the Scholarship Committee.
