Form 990, Part III, Line 4c	-------- continued from Form 990, Part III, Line 4c Vanguard Culture partnered with CoPlace, San Diego/Tijuana World Design Capital 2024, San Diego Design Week to produce MASH UP, our largest in-person creative industry symposium since the pandemic. We produced over 12 hours of panel discussions, workshops, and more with creative leaders from film, theatre, fashion, music, dance, opera, spoken word, and more. The 2-day conference was attended by over 200 creative industry professionals and over 12 hours of content is now available for free on our YouTube channel.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	-------- After the Draft Form 990 is complete, it is emailed to all Board Members for their review. The Board can ask questions about the Form 990 at any time. On April 14, 2023, the Board of Directors, having reviewed the Draft Form 990 and supplemental schedules, approved its filing by unanimous consent.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c	-------- The board of directors is required to annually review our conflict of interest policy and sign an acknowledgment of compliance. Our Executive Director reviews every transaction and would be aware of any violations to the policy. In addition, our board of directors provides oversight of the Executive Director.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15a, 15b	-------- In 2022, we had no paid employees. Since inception, we have been a 100 volunteer organization, including our full-time Executive Director.
