Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	The 990 is reviewed by the entire board during our monthly board meeting in January 2024. The treasurer answers any questions the Board has and then the Board votes to approve the 990.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c	Annually, the Board is required to provide a conflict of interest statement, noting any potential conflicts of interest. When a conflict is disclosed, the entire Board discusses the issue and what actions to take and documents this in the meeting minutes. Board members with a conflict of interest are typically prohibited from voting on any issues pertaining to the conflict.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15	The Executive Committee of the Board (consisting of the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) meet annually to discuss Executive Director compensation. The Board conducts a performance review of the Executive Director and the results of that review is factored into the discussion. The committee also reviews compensation for non-profit executives in western Pennsylvania to ensure our compensation is in line with other non-profits of our size in our area.
