Little Huskies then underwent another re-organization in August 2023 when a new group took over membership of the Board and oversight of the Center. A new Executive Director was appointed and the organization essentially started anew in August 2023. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The form was completed by paper and emailed out to all Board Members. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 upon request Form 990, Part XII, Line 1 The previous management from January 2023-August 2023 did not keep comprehensive financial records. Starting in 2023 financial records were prepared and accounted for with oversight from the new Board of Directors. Little Huskies Learning Center re-organized in January 2023 as a 501c3 non-profit. The organization re-organized again in August 2023 when a new Board of Directors and new Executive Director were in place. Since this time the current Board has been in constant clean up mode and come across one surprise after another. One of these surprises was learning in late 2024 during an audit by the State of Minnesota that we were required to file a Form 990. Prior to this the Board did not know anything about the Form 990. The oversight was not intentional, but rather simply not knowing. The Board is made up of volunteers who are not compensated and would not have ever known about the Form 990 requirement had it not been from the person from the State of Minnesota performing an audit.
