IBEW Local Union 2222 (EIN XXX-XX-XXXX) formed Local Union 2222 IBEW Benevolent Fund Trust on September 15, 1999. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a Every three years, IBEW Local Union 2222 holds an election of officers. A notice by mail is sent to the membership stating when nominations are to be held (always at the May monthly union meeting). After nominations have been made and the nominations are closed, the president appoints an Election Judge and as many tellers as are required who shall serve as the Election Board to conduct the election. No candidate for any office shall be eligible to serve on this board. After nominations have been made and those nominated are found to be qualified, the Election Board shall have ballots prepared listing in alphabetical order the names of all candidates for each respective office beginning with the President and continuing in the order named in the IBEW Constitution. Such ballots shall not contain any identifying numbers or marks. All voting shall be by mail ballot. The Financial Secretary furnishes to the Election Judge not less than 20 days before the election, an alphabetical list of all members eligible to vote. All members in good standing are qualified and shall be eligible to vote. The Executive Board shall decide the last day to which ballots shall be received and the date, time and place when the ballots will be counted. This information shall be enclosed with the ballot sent to the members. The Executive Board of IBEW LU 2222 serve as Trustees of Local Union 2222 IBEW Benevolent Fund Trust for as long as they serve on the Executive Board of IBEW Local Union 2222.
