Updates include specific children's needs, housing needs and staffing needs in addition to local economic and political events. Board members have regularly visited homes in Bolivia since organizations inception. One site visit with US Executive Director and two board members took place in Fall 2024. Executive Director planned visit August 2026 and at least bi-annually going forward. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The volunteer accountant prepares the 990 and required schedules and sends to the Board Treasurer and all other directors for their review and approval prior to filing with the IRS. The Board Treasurer submits the 990 to the IRS. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Board members review policy and annually affirm that there is no conflict of interest to report. In 2025, there were no conflicts of interest. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Compensation is reviewed as part of the annual performance review performed in partnership with Canadian Board. Factors such as work scope, performance, comparable compensation are some of the factors included in the review. Compensation is approved annually. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Governing documents, conflict of interest policy and financial statements are made available upon request and are also provided as part of grant support with applications to existing organizations financially supporting Ninos Con Valor.
