The organization has accepted donations of items that community members donated and refurbished them and prepared them for donations to the public as needed by anyone in need. The people who get the items donated make a donation in cash that is used for the upkeep of the building. The volunteers prepare the donated items for display. There ae no paid members all work in on a volunteer basis. Any one can participate in the activities of preparing clothing and other items for the public as volunteering. The building is owned by the county and if the organization closes, the county will take responsibility for upkeep. The community organization has replaced two heat pumps. One being the main heat pump and the other a smaller one. These are set up on the depreciation schedule, however the building is not owned by the organization, rather the county board of supervisors. They have painted some of the inside and repaired some of the auditorium and library. The community also can use the building for homecomings, funeral dinners, weddings, receptions, craft shows, and other activities as community has needs. The people who use the building make donations to the organization. If there is a family in need, the organization helps them with items requested. The building is open to the public almost every day with volunteers keeping it open. page 1 line 1 All donations came from the community this year. As members of the community use the building, they make donations. The items donated by community members are cleaned and prepared to be donated back into the community as people in need stop in to get them. Any one can make donations at any time and any item they keep can be free or they can leave a donation.
