The executive committee and a senior representative of the national council meet as the personnel committee each spring. The national president presents the evaluation results ot the executive director at the national council meeting in June. The national president prepares the continuing letter of employment for the executive director which contains the details of the compensation package and any salary increase. The personnel committee, in conjunction with the executive director, makes salary recommendations to the national council for approval as part of the budget. The executive director prepares continuing letters of employment for the full-time employees. These letters contain the details of the compensation package and any salary increase.
