As a result NWC evaluated its tax position and determined is has no uncertain tax position as of June 30,2025 and 2024. NWC is subject to audits by taxing authorities; however there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. Part IV, line 2b NWC offers managed investment savings accounts MISA to eligible participants as part of funding received for the Community Reinvestment Fund through the Washington Department of Commerce and Employment Security Department. MISAs are defined custodial accounts managed by NWC to provide a 2:1 match for participants savings with a maximum of $20,000 in matched funds to enhance participants financial self-sufficiency. Participants use their savings from earned income to fund their portion of the account for a combined maximum value of $30,000. NWC acts as custodian of the MISA accounts opened by participants until they meet the requirements under the program. At June 30 2025 the total value of the MISA accounts held by participants for which NWC had custodial oversight was $498,890. NWC has recorded the matched portion of the MISA accounts in the statement of financial position as other assets and liabilities. Doing Business As Names Northwest Workforce Council Part VI, Section B, Line 1 NO - The Executive Committee shall be composed of seven members: The Chair Vice-Chair Secretary and two at-large members one of whom shall be designated by and representing the Consortium Committee of Local Elected Officials and act as a Chief LEO. The Executive Committee shall have the authority to fulfill the stated responsibilities in the Bylaws. All actions of the Executive Committee shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. The Executive Committee may act in the name of the Board between board meetings. Such action shall be reported and subject to the approval of the Board at its next regular or special meeting. Part VI, Line 11a A copy of the completed Form 990 was reviewed by an independent CPA firm and then emailed to all members of the governing body for review. Part VI, Line 12c All directors employees officers and agents sign a copy of the conflict of interest policy acknowledging they have read and understand the policy. The conflict of interest policy is reviewed and circulated annually at the first calendar quarter board meeting of the year. Executive Committee members and the Executive Director monitor the voting on the selection award or administration of a contract to ensure that no real implied or apparent conflict of interest would be involved. The abstention from voting and declaration of any conflict of interest is noted in the minutes of the meetings. Part VI, Line 15 The Executive Committee annually reviews the Executive Directors the highest compensated management position compensation against the most recent Wage and Benefit Survey conducted for the Washington Workforce Association and will determine the change if any that will be made to the Executive Directors salary for the year.
