Form 990, Part III, Line 4A, Program Service Accomplishments - Continued Visit Tampa Bay is a partner-based economic development organization, serving just under 1000 local businesses through sales and marketing opportunities, including sales leads, client referrals, cooperative marketing programs, and promotional exposure that allows partners to benefit from the $9.5 billion in total (direct, indirect, and induced) economic impact generated by visitor spending. Tourism generated $6.0 billion in direct visitor spending across Hillsborough County during FY25. The fiscal impact of Visit Tampa Bay's efforts reaches local hotels, restaurants, attractions, cultural institutions, museums, shopping centers, airports, cruise lines, parks, transportation providers, and countless other tourism-related businesses. In addition, tourism indirectly supports a wide range of local industries, including distributors, dry cleaners, grocery stores, gas stations, and numerous small businesses throughout the community. During FY25, Visit Tampa Bay continued executing a full-funnel marketing strategy designed to inspire travel, convert prospective visitors into booked travelers, and build long-term destination demand. Through targeted domestic and international advertising, public relations, digital marketing, and content campaigns, the organization strengthened Tampa Bay's position as one of the nation's premier travel destinations. Visit Tampa Bay also generated significant earned media exposure in key domestic and international markets while driving visitation through strategic partnerships and destination storytelling. Visit Tampa Bay hosted meetings and conventions that generated substantial economic impact for Hillsborough County. Working collaboratively with the Tampa Convention Center, area hotels, and local venues, the convention sales team continued aggressive sales outreach through industry trade shows, sales missions, client events, familiarization tours, and cooperative marketing initiatives while securing future business that will generate continued economic benefits for the destination. These collective efforts helped attract more than 28 million visitors to Hillsborough County during FY25, generating $6.0 billion in direct visitor spending and $9.5 billion in total economic impact. Tourism supported nearly 62,000 local jobs and generated approximately $691 million in state and local tax revenues, helping fund essential public services while strengthening the local economy and enhancing the quality of life for residents. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 1a The Executive Committee of the Board of Directors shall be empowered and authorized to exercise all of the powers and authority of the Board of Directors at all times, except during times when the Board of Directors is in session. The Executive Committee shall be comprised of the officers of the corporation, the Immediate Past Chair of the corporation, the Chair of the Finance Committee, and two additional members of the Board of Directors selected by the officers of the board. Once a review is performed by management of the Organization, the Form 990 is presented to the Finance Committee for their final review and approval. In addition, a copy of the Form 990 is made available to all members of the Board of Directors prior to filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c A designated person who has a conflict of interest shall disclose the conflict of interest when it arises, and before action on the transaction or claim in question. Disclosure is required even if a decision concerning the transaction or claim is not subject to approval by the designated person or the Board or Committee on which the designated person serves. Conflicts of interest involving the members of the Board of the corporation shall be reported to the Board. The minutes of the Board and of any Committee at which a conflict of interest was reported shall state who was present for any discussions and votes concerning the transaction or claim involving the conflict of interest. A designated person who has a conflict of interest arising out of or related to a transaction or claim shall be excused from the Board or Committee meeting, as the case may be, before any deliberations or voting concerning the authorization of the transaction or the assertion of the claim, provided that the designated person shall make the disclosure required by this provision, respond to questions from the Board or Committee, and be counted in determining the presence of a quorum at any meeting of the Board or Committee. Any transaction involving a conflict of interest shall be fair and reasonable to the corporation. The designated person will, at all times act with good faith toward the corporation.
