Effective July 1, 2009, Sayre Health Center adopted the income tax standard for uncertain tax positions. The implementation of this standard had no impact on the Health Center's financial statements. Sayre Health Center's informational tax returns are subject to review and examination by federal, state, and local authorities. Sayre Health Center is not aware of any activities that would jeopardize its tax-exempt status. Should that status be challenged in the future, the entity's June 30, 2007, 2008, and 2009 tax years are open for examination by the IRS.
