In no instance shall excess benefits (value of compensation in excess of value of services) be given to a disqualified person (anyone in a position to exercise substantial influence over the Seattle Humane Society). Compensation data will be collected for similar organizations and will serve as a benchmark in determining compensation and benefits to the Seattle Humane Society employees. Reasonableness criteria shall be documented. d) Compensation and benefits should be flexible enough to attract and retain employees who are best able to assist the Seattle Humane Society in achieving its mission, including the ability to: Attract a diverse workforce.
