Active seniors can enjoy lunch at any of seven nutrition sites, yoga classes, weekly movies, bingo days, a computer lab, dances, travel club, acting classes, arts and crafts and singing. For homebound seniors, aging-in-place programs, such as home delivered meals, case management and the transportation program, enable seniors to remain independent. Served 6,421 clients. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Foster Children Resource Center (FCRC)The volunteers at FCRC provide new clothes, uniforms, grooming items and basic necessities to children in programs such as licensed Foster Parent and Family Preservation programs. Served more than 1,289 children. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Theatre for ChildrenVolunteer players provide weekend shows for local families and special free performances for disadvantaged and disabled children who would not otherwise be exposed to live theatre. Schools for under-served can make special arrangements for free transporation. Stages two major productions of fine children's literature each year. Served more than 13,000 children. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Operation SchoolbellThis services provides clothing and personal hygiene products to children in extreme need, those who are struggling to remain in school and who are facing other severe problems because their families cannot afford their clothes. As it provides complete outfit of new clothing, this program helps build the self-confidence of these children, as well as promoting good attendance and higher scholastic achievement.
