In addition, the Organization qualifies for charitable contribution deductions under Section 170(b)(1)(A) and has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under Section 509(a)(1). Income, which is not related to exempt purposes, less applicable deductions, is subject to Federal and state corporate income taxes. The Organization had no net unrelated business income during the years ended June 30, 2010 and 2009. ASC 740, Income Taxes (ASC 740), prescribes the recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. It provides guidance on derecognition, classification, interest and penalties, accounting in interim periods, disclosure and transition. For those benefits to be recognized, a tax position must be more-likely-than-not to be sustained upon examination by taxing authorities. The Organization implemented ASC 740 during the year ended June 30, 2009. The impact of the implementation of ASC 740 was not material to the Organizations financial statements. The Organization recognizes interest and penalties accrued on any unrecognized tax exposures as a component of income tax expense.
