Increasingly, the group has spearheaded community efforts to ensure that new development on the peninsula meets the test of sustainability and preserves much of the charm that attracted current and earlier generations to Port Washington. This year we have worked closely with the Town of North Hempstead, the Villages on the P PUBLIC EDUCATION - PROVIDE THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDES THAT WILL LEAD TO A MORE SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.
