The application asks for the applicant's amount of income, source of income, number of people in household and any other relevant information. The application for assistance is then approved or denied by the caseworker's supervisor based on the individual's need and the grant requirements. If approved, the application is then reviewed and approved by the Vice President of operations and the President/CEO. The aplication is then given to the Finance Director to issue a check, voucher or cash on behalf of the individual. The use of grant funds are reviewed and monitored on a monthly basis by the employee administering the grant and the President/CEO. All monthly, semi-monthly and annual grant reports are completed and filed in a timely manner to the appropriate agency.
