Progress reports must be submitted by the recipient and are reviewed by the MBL principal investigator (PI) on the grant. A site visit may be arranged to review or monitor the quality or progress of the sub-awardee. Financial reports are reviewed by OSP and are expected to have been prepared on a basis comparable to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles of the United States. Subcontract invoices are received and reviewed by OSP and forwarded to the PI for approval. OSP then forwards the invoice to accounting for processing.
