The scientist decoded a key structure of the enzyme telomerase, which plays a major role in the development of cancer. Exploring The Role Of The Tumor Microenvironment In Disease: Wistar scientists have found that normal cells and molecules that surround a cancer cell - the tumor microenvironment - nurture growing cancer cells, creating a hospitable place for a tumor to grow and spread.
