For the twelve-month period, 18 agencies received services under this program. The areas of focus include: Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Program Development, Revenue Development and Diversification, and Community Engagement. The methods utilized to increase capacity are through financial assistance (mini-grants), group training, and customized technical assistance. In addition, the Community Capacity Building Initiative convenes and facilitates neighborhoods and communities to achieve positive social change through strategic partnerships, leveraging and aligning resources, promoting evidenced-based practices and measuring community-wide outcomes. 599564 Health and Family Advocacy Programs - provide health programs to Sonoma County's low-income population, including para-professional family advocacy services to elementary and secondary schools to link families with community resources. Operates a variety oftransitional housing units, including shared housing for women andchildren and apartments for individuals and families.
