He recuses himself in any votes concerning compensation or evaluation of the Executive Director. F990_P06_S0B_L11b Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The 990 was presented to the board by the Director of Finance. The board discussed the various parts of the form 990 and Schedule A as well as other supporting schedules. The form was then e-filed. F990_P06_S0B_L12c Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Each board member annually reviews the conflict of interest policy and discloses any interests that could give rise to conflicts. If any interests arise that are identified as potential conflicts the board determines next steps ie. recusing the member from specific votes and discussions. F990_P06_S0B_L15 Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The board reviews the Executive Director's compensation each year. They consider salaries of Executive Director's with similar responsibilities and in similiar sized organizations as well as the financial needs of the organization before determining salary for the year. F990_P06_S0C_L19 Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The annual report, audited financial statement and 990 Return are posted to A Child's Right website as soon as possible after completion. These documents as well as the 1023 are available upon request. F990_P12_S00_L02c Form 990, Part XII, Line 2c A Child's Right had a Financial Review for 2010 and a Financial Audit for 2011. The board hired the independent auditor and the statements were reviewed by the treasurer who summarized the results for the full board.
