Uptown Players, Inc. also produced a Pride Performing Arts Festival in September, 2011 that included a world premiere production in association with National Alliance for Musical Theatre in New York, plus festival productions of Beautiful Thing, The Facts of Life: The Lost Episode, The New Century, Click, A Midsummer Nights Conversation, The Last Sunday in June, Last Summer at Bluefish Cove, plus the world premieres of the work of two local playwrights entitled Asher TX '82, and A Taste of Beauty.The program service expenses were play production expenses.
