Personal residence is provided as a mandatory condition of employment as Head and for the convenience of the school as employer subject to the understanding that it will be used for school functions. The Washington Club extends free club membership to all Gunnery Heads of School and Heads' spouses at no charge to the Gunnery. The school bears the cost of 12-17 hours per week for cleaning assitance in connection with the use of the house for school entertainment, meetings, and other functions. Personal residence is provided for the Assistant Head/Dean of Faculty for the convenience of the school.
