During FY11, 185 students were enrolled in the preschool program. 1667253 16270 1175084 Camp, Youth & Teens - Camp JCC provided a Jewish camp environment where informal Jewish education was woven into the programs and community created and each camper experienced. Along with celebrating Shabbat, and a weekly Jewish theme, counselors and specialists incorporated Jewish values and cultural influence into their regular activities. During FY11, 1,009 campers were served during 3 camp sessions. Youth programs included an after school program that provided a warm and welcoming environment where kids continued to learn and grow after the school bell rang. Our after school programs provided children with a safe place to unwind and socialize with friends, complete homework with quality staff assistance and stay active through a variety of recreational and enrichment activities. Sports and recreation programs included basketball, karate, gymnastics, soccer and more. We offered children and teens the opportunity to develop musical and instrument-specific creative skills. Our goal was to enhance students' creative expression and capacity while fostering a lifelong appreciation of music. The diversified JCC dance program offered youth and teens the opportunity to enjoy dance. Our dance curriculum constantly evolves to meet the needs of our students and interests of our community. Through our classes and performances, we enrich students' lives by instilling a lifelong interest in dance. Our visual arts program offered a wide range of programming including acrylic and oil painting, clay sculpture, drawing, 3-D techniques, and comic book and creative cartooning. The rewritten bylaws were adopted in November of 2010. Special members may not sit as members on the board, vote, or hold office. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7b One hundred active members constitute a quorum and a majority of the quorum will be required for disapproving any member of a slate of candidates for the Board of Directors proposed by the Governance Committee and approved by the Board of Directors or for nominating and electing any non-slated member to the Board of Directors. The CEO's performance is evaluated by a committee of the Board of Director's which is chaired by the President of the Board of Directors. Other key employees are evaluated by the CEO.
