By assisting existing orphanages in these countries, we have blessed the lives of hundreds of children. Due to recent economic challenges and political instability around the world, ACHF focused its 2012 volunteer efforts in Mexico. In addition to the food, clothing, hygiene kits, educational, and medical supplies we provided in Mexico, ACHF has completed construction projects at four different orphanages and a care provider9s home. These projects included cement pads, retaining walls, sidewalks, landscaping, painting, plastering, plumbing, and electrical work. We have also expanded kitchens, tiled bathrooms, and placed a roof on a girl9s dorm. In addition, our volunteers help in a food kitchen and spend individual time each day playing with the orphans. The Perpetual Adoption Fund continues to be a unique element of A Child9s Hope Foundation and provides every couple the possibility of adding a needy child to their loving family though financial aid.
